The Sun Went Down, But She Kept Shining
If you’re lucky, a client walks into the studio and brings not just outfits—but energy. Suzanne Lundeen Abrams brought both.
As the founder of Lundeen Abrams Advisors, Suzanne has made it her mission to empower women with financial clarity and confidence. Her firm is rooted in something rare in the financial world: warmth, integrity, and a deep respect for the independence and strength of women.
When she came in for her personal branding session, Suzanne brought a full range—tailored blazers, cozy knits, power heels, bold colors, soft neutrals. Each look was its own chapter. And with every outfit, a new side of her showed up: vibrant, thoughtful, funny, strong. The kind of woman who owns her story—and helps others do the same.
We were having so much fun shooting, we didn’t even notice the light disappearing. One moment we were dancing in soft, natural glow; the next, the studio was pitch black. The winter sunset had clocked out—but Suzanne hadn’t. Cool and completely unfazed, she rolled with it while I grabbed the strobe and kept the magic going.
It’s not about turning back time. It’s about standing in it—fully seen, fully powerful.
This is more than a portrait session. It’s a tribute to the beauty that deepens with time—and a reminder that every chapter deserves its own spotlight.
Suzanne and I are currently planning something extraordinary for 2024: a collaborative legacy portrait experience and fine art photo exhibit honoring the beauty, wisdom, and radiance of women in their 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond.
Stay tuned. This story is just beginning.
